Terms & Conditions
Fall Semester runs August — December, and Spring Semester runs January — May. Full Semester Tuition is payable in 5 equal installments at the first lesson of each month. Your tuition guarantees that your teacher will be present to teach 16 lessons during the Semester. Additional charges for late payments, returned checks, and new students may apply.
All sales are final. Lessons cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred.
The Piano Studio does not provide tuition refund under any circumstances for private lessons, classes, or workshops already attended.
The Piano Studio reserves the right to terminate a student's involvement in lessons, classes, and workshops (based on failure to pay tuition, consistent unexcused absences, lack of progress and personal practice time, difficult or unteachable attitude, or for any other reason where the instructor feels necessary).
Canceling Lessons &
Rescheduling Missed Lessons
Your teacher is available to teach your student at your normally scheduled lesson day and time only.
Three make-up lesson credits will be allowed per student, per semester. Make-up credits will expire at the end of the current semester. If you are canceling your lesson with 24+ hours notice, you have the option to add in an additional lesson by looking at the calendar for open lesson times. To add in another lesson, simply register for any open lesson time.
If a student misses or cancels a regularly scheduled lesson without at least 24 hours notice, they will simply miss the benefit of that lesson.
Materials and Equipment
Your tuition does not cover the costs of music books, sheet music, and necessary recital materials. Extra performance opportunities such as festivals and competitions will be added to your tuition as necessary.
The Piano Studio and the teachers offer numerous performing opportunities for students each year. Participation in any of these events is not required, and teachers reserve the right to limit participation in each event as necessary.
